Understanding the challenge

Bitcoin difficulty options are a niche, complex financial instrument. Doefin needed a trading interface that could make that complexity navigable, using Hick's Law as the guiding principle: fewer, clearer choices at each decision point, rather than overwhelming traders with every option at once.

Designing a seamless experience

The order book was built around two sides, Below and Above, with Strike acting as a center pivot rather than a third option, keeping the core trading decision binary and clear. Over 12 distinct order states were designed to handle every stage a trade could move through, standing out as some of the platform's most detailed craft work.

Design Solution

Three screens carry the entire trading experience, each shaped by months of iteration to strip away anything that wasn't essential to the decision at hand. The platform is designed for every moment between Bitcoin epochs, giving traders a tool that stays clear no matter how the market moves.
